Haruka is a famous tomboy racer. So when she faced her destiny as a senshi, she hesitated for a moment, for if she chose that path, she wouldn't be able to devote her life to racing, but as SailorNeptune came along and when she got to know her, she decided to become a senshi.(Yes I'm aware that was a big runon-sentence :P) SailorUranus carries a talisman called the Space Sword. She seems to be the leader of Outer Senshi and she has a mission to protect the solar system against the outside invadors.
